Manages customer accounts from initial contact, prepress details and approvals,
estimating, press scheduling and shipping; checks stock inventory, and assures that all customer
and company requirements are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receives and processes all customer orders or needs by phone, fax or mail.
Enters job into estimating system to produce estimate and subsequent Job Jacket. Works
with scheduler to assign press and shipping dates. Checks stock inventory to verify stock
availability and works with inventory manager to order stock if necessary.
Works with the prepress department to assure that all needed information is available to
complete the prepress project and produce contract proofs for customer approval.
Orchestrates graphic revisions between customer and prepress until we receive customer
Investigates and answers customer questions/complaints in a timely, professional manner to
ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicates with the sales representatives regarding their accounts. Project Manager is
accountable for providing accurate work instructions for each job and must be willing to
expend every effort to obtain accurate information from customers and sales reps.
Identifies needs and makes recommendations to Customer Services Manager regarding
revisions to policy and procedure.
Identifies and presents training needs to Supervisor.
Assures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Support sales representatives by creating/modifying RFE's and quotes into JOBZ program, as
Work with outsource suppliers/vendors for print/pouch jobs and follow through from
prepress to shipment.
Handle all contract sales accounts.
Handle all export accounts, quoting and RFE's.
Performs additional responsibilities as needed or assigned by Management.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a College or technical school or a
minimum of 3-5 years related experience in the printing industry; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
In-depth printing knowledge is a must
Ability to become knowledgeable of printing equipment, packaging equipment and respective
running speeds, packaging laminations, and most efficient methods for producing any
Excellent organization skills; detail and process-oriented.
Positive can-do attitude is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Experience in managing multiple projects.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to make decisions independently and with good common sense.
Ability to handle problems over the phone with good phone etiquette and professionalism.

Experience in lithographic printing practices and policies.
Experience in flexible packaging environment.
Knowledge of Graphic Arts industry.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet
software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software- Strong PC skills
required. MS Office including databases and excel.
A strong math aptitude. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. Problem solving and trouble shooting skills to deal with difficult
