General Position Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the arrangement and execution of services through the supplier network. Using established supplier selection and supplier management processes, the move coordinator will ensure that deliveries are performed per account standards. He or she must demonstrate a positive team spirit, a willingness to improve job related skills, be responsive to direction and constructive criticism and present a professional demeanor.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Notify team leader/director/vice president of any difficulties with job duties or assignments in a timely fashion.
Provide customer service in accordance with procedures
Present positive attitude on the phone - never communicate internal problems or make negative comments.
Maintain constant communication with client, display a strong sense of urgency and respond quickly to inquiries.
Maintain timely professional contact with account representatives.
Properly update all required fields in appropriate computer application for each activity associated with a particular order.
Monitor shipments until delivered.
Coordinate the services of third party providers.
Act with initiative in order to anticipate and resolve problems.
Complete all daily tasks in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a positive and supportive working relationship with Supervisor, GMs, Sales personnel, co-workers, suppliers and customers.
Demonstrate a willingness to improve job-related skills: be responsive to direction and constructive feedback, showing flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments.
Keep supervisor informed of occurrences and potential problems affecting the daily operations and management of the team.
Promote safety in the workplace to maximize employee morale and limit company liability.
Demonstrate a willingness to "take ownership" for new ideas that will improve procedures and productivity.
Maintain and monitor voice mail and email systems.
Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments or projects as directed by your immediate supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company duties as may be assigned.
Genuine interest in working with and assisting people.
Customer service driven with the ability to meet customer needs in a timely fashion.
Ability to work under the pressures of time constraints in a fast paced work environment while maintaining professionalism under stressful circumstances.
Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as being a good listener.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational skills to efficiently perform daily work activities - specifically ability to prioritize daily workload.
Strong Microsoft Office applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
